Asian Baptist Student Koinonia is a Christian fellowship at Boston University that strives to practice exactly that: fellowship best described in the Bible by the Greek word, koinonia. Philippians 2:1-2 says,
“If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.”
Through this fellowship we seek to live out the Great Commandment to love God and to love each other (Mark 12:28-34).
Don’t worry, you don’t have to be Greek or Asian or even Christian! Whether you are new to the Bible or have been attending church your whole life, we welcome you to join us at our weekly Friday Bible studies for some koinonia and study of the Word. We hope that at ABSK you will get to know God more personally and “take hold of the life that is truly life” (1 Timothy 6:19).
